Medieval Banquets
The Brother Marcus
Enjoy a medieval banquet and help Brother Marcus solve the dreadful deed!
Guests are invited to a banquet at Wolfdale Castle by the Lord Draylehelm.
His nephew Roland is getting married. Now Roland is not a very popular young
man but his Uncle is a powerful Lord and it would not look good not to be
there. Anyway Lord Draylehelm is well known for providing a sumptuous banquet
and the musicians are always good and the entertainers the best. Jugglers for
the eastern mountains, fireaters from the Stepps of Tiziliak, exotic belly
dancers for the simmering sands of Alsi' Din, Draylehelm's own jesters and
always some new and exciting entertainer to marvel at. Great food, fine wine,
just hope nothing goes amiss to upset the Lord Draylehelm, he is a stern man
with little humour and his dungeons are cold and dank. Of course the famous
Brother Marcus is sure to be there, he has gained a growing reputation for
solving mysteries. There was the time when Abbott Broadhurst was found dead
in his locked chamber. When every one had decided it had to be some evil
witchery, Brother Marcus unmasked a jealous brother as the villain and how he
had done it. Then there was the Lord that was found drowned in his armour!
Brother Marcus discovered the Lords wife had a lover and the couple had
schemed the dreadful deed. Brother Marcus needs little encouragement to
retell his tales, a mug or two of ale surely helps. Ladies are encouraged to
dress in their finest gowns, Gentlemen and knights in their most courageous
mail or robes and hose.
