It is 1940. France has fallen and the Germans are moving in on Paris. This train is the last escape for those wanting to flee the Gestapo, however as they will soon find out, the dreaded Gestapo Col. knows this and is on the train.
Professor Reynier was working on a project at the Sorbonne University to develop a serum that attacks and destroys cancer cells. Julius Abbeirre is an infamous gangster who controls most of the brothels in Paris; he is now trying to develop the drug trade. The war is making it very hard to import heroin, but he has heard of Professors Reynier’s discovery.
Abbierre has heard the Serum not only kills cancer cells but also with little modification becomes a powerful hallucinatory drug with dangerous side effects. In it’s pure state it is extremely dangerous, a small amount could kill thousand.
Abbierre wants the Serum to develop his drug trade; the Gestapo wants it to use as a terrible weapon, delivering in to V2 rockets over the target. The British and the Americans say they want it as a cure for cancer and for medical research. The Russians want the Serum too; they have sent one of their top agents to get it. The French Resistance are on the trail as well, they are working for the Allies, but they seem to have an agenda of their own.
Professor Reynier has two assistants, Marie Halsburg and Marco Merck. Both have secrets they do not want known. Marie’s father is Jewish and in a concentration camp in Germany. The Gestapo has planted her in the University to work with the Professor to supply them with information on the progress of the Serum. Marco Merck has several weaknesses, gambling and women. At one of Abbierre’s wild parties, a girl called Lillie Matinu, was with Marco when she died and he believes he is responsible for her death. Abbierre told Marco he would hush it up, if Marco would get him a sample of the Serum. Abbierre apparently has evidence-linking Marco to the girl’s death.
The Serum project at the Sorbonne is being taken over by the Gestapo. With the idea of moving it and all staff to Berlin. The Professor wants to escape with the only sample of the Serum, having destroyed all his records. When Marie and Marco find out Professor Reynier is leaving Paris on the train to Istanbul, each decides they had better leave too. Abbierre has had Marco “tailed” and just arrives and boards the train as it is leaving. The Gestapo is no where to be seen as train the pulls out, much to just about everyone’s relief.
Board the train rushing into evening of romance and excitement; enjoy a fine buffet dinner and a complimentary glass of wine. There is a bar on the train and the evening is approximately three hours long, but times can be extended to suit clients needs. The guest characters that wish to be active in the story can participate as much as they are comfortable with. There are no lines for guests to learn, they just read their character profile and act the character as much as they wish, the more guests act their character the more fun they have. The cast members interact with all the guests and action takes place at given intervals through out the train. Some guests have information that they can share or can be revealed during questioning, as the guests feels are appropriate. Cast members are very sensitive about the interaction comfort level of guests and are careful not to make guests uncomfortable at any time.
Guests are supplied with all props necessary for their parts and in some cases we can supply German uniforms (where fit allows). We also have a number Guests can call for questions or advise on costumes. Guests also receive ID papers and travel permits, which make great souvenirs. Each Guest is sent a full character profile beforehand with a copy of “La Liberte” which is a newspaper that holds clues. When guests arrive they are given a character guide, which gives a description of all guest and cast characters without “giving it away”; this way they know who to interact with. It is truly an exciting and fun evening not to be forgotten.
